The innovators behind Park Hebrew dreamt that every Jewish child in Lincoln Park had access to a Jewish education.  A learning place that was engaging, vibrant and alive. A center that illustrated the joys of tradition, promoted a strong sense of culture and traditional Jewish values, and fostered a generation of inspired Jewish leaders and advocates.

More about Park Hebrew

At Park Hebrew we prepare our children to fully experience Hebrew through our syllabus on listening, reading and writing  Hebrew. To teach Hebrew to our students we use the acclaimed Aleph Champion Program which is on the cutting edge of Hebrew reading today and is modeled after the Karate/Martial Arts motivational system.

Jewish Heritage

Our children gain excitement in the lead up to holidays, appreciate Jewish history, and understand the importance of Jewish values and ethics through our cutting-edge Judaica curriculum. Throughout the years at Park Hebrew, students gain an appreciation and understanding of Jewish history, Mitzvot, Israel, Jewish moral values, and general Jewish trivia.

Holiday Celebrations

We host incredible Jewish holiday events and family celebrations bringing our learning and heritage to life. This gives the entire family the opportunity to experience the warmth and community of Park Hebrew. From engaging and meaningful High Holiday services, Pizza in the Sukkah, Chanukah extravaganzas, a Grand Purim party & masquerade, a Passover Matzah Bakery and Seder, and a hearty Shavuot ice cream party – our events are not-to-be missed heartwarming community celebrations.

Welcome  to Park Hebrew, an exciting and innovative Jewish educational afterschool program that takes place on Tuesdays for children ages 5-12!

We have a particular focus on educating children through the use of fine and performing arts including puppetry, drama, music, cooking, workshops, science, games, apps and more – Making Jewish learning and living come to life.

Park Hebrew is a warm, all-encompassing, non-judgmental environment; welcoming Jewish families from all backgrounds. We acknowledge and respect the diversity of our children; while emphasizing Jewish values of family, community, compassion, joy, tradition and rituals.

At Park Hebrew, our goal is simple: We want our students to view Judaism in an intelligent, relevant and upbeat light. By year's end, along with the Aleph- Bais, Holiday learning and Hebrew literacy, your child will have developed a deep love and appreciation for their precious heritage, imbuing their every day with a sense of pride and purpose.

No synagogue membership is required to be part of Park Hebrew. We welcome you to our school community and invite you to join us for our extensive array of programming.
