Model Matzah Bakery

  • The Model Matzah Bakery is a hands-on educational experience that gives each child the chance to make his or her own Matzah.

18…17…16… Can you bake that Matzah before the dough rises?

Welcome to our Model Matzah Bakery!
Cut, thresh and grind wheat into flour. Then, while racing against the clock, children will mix, punch, roll and bake their very own Matzah to take home. From farmer to baker, the children are doing it all... in under 18 minutes!

The Model Matzah Bakery is ideal for children from ages 2 through 13, though children of younger and older ages may participate as well.

Advance RSVP required. Space is limited!

    When: Sunday, April 14th 11:30am-12:30pm

Where: Whole Foods Cooking Classroom: 1550 N Kingsbury St.

At [Name of Chabad House], we know it’s important to teach kids about caring for people and the world at a young age, and that’s why we are hosting a one-day program called Goodness Grows.Every kid in the program will learn about having a positive effecton the world, and they’ll use their creativity to paint a wooden leaf and mark it with a certain symbol or word. This mark is meant to represent what the child plans to do to make the world a better place!Afterwards, everyone will roll clay, soil, and seeds into their very own seed bombs! They can take home their seed bombs, plant them in a "Goodness Garden", and watch them grow and flourish. The best part of Goodness Grows will be when everyone comes to the front of the room, one-by-one, and places their painted leaves onto a large Tree of Giving. The branches of the tree will be filled with resolutions and ideas of how to affect the world positively. The Tree of Giving will be hung up for all to see!To get your child involved, sign up [here -attach link in word]!At [Name of Chabad House], we know it’s important to teach kids about caring for people and
